Cecilia let out a tiny sigh of relief and tried to stand, but her legs were like jelly. She spilled back down on the ground again, just catching herself before she did a total face plant. “O-Ow…” The girl mumbled to herself, trying once again to get to her feet, but with no avail.
Mycroft sighed, chuckling lightly. “Such a klutz…” He picked her up and carried her in a fireman’s hold. “We’ll go back to my place, dear. And I’ll get you food and you can crash on the couch.”
She wiggled lightly in his grasp, wrinkling her nose at her situation. “Do you have mac and cheese? I like mac and cheese. And movies. Can we watch a movie together Myc? Please? Pllleeaaasseee?”
Mycroft chuckled, “Yes, I can make mac and cheese. And stop moving. Then you’ll fall. And I’ll have to pick you up. And put you back into this position. Pick whatever movie you want, dear.”
Cecilia stopped wiggling, cling to the back of his shirt instead, with a giggle. “Yay~! I love spending time with Myc! I never get to see you anymore… It makes me sad. Come visit me and Harry more, Kay?”
“I probably should. I do happen to miss my girls, you know. They’re not too bad. Except when Harry gets me to eat and you pester me.” He sighed dramatically, “What then again; what would I do without my girls?”
“Starve to death.” She muttered and tugged on the back of his shirt. “Though I guess I’m not really one to talk, I find myself eating less and less these days…” Cecilia stopped herself before she said too much. “And we love you.”
